The HeadHunters franchise began in 1995 after a last second invite from the Grumplestiltskins franchise. The HeadHunters went to 3 championship games in their first 4 seasons and secured their first Art in 1998. The franchise won their second Art in 2007. After a 10 year hiatus from 2012-2022, the HeadHunters returned to the league in search of title number 3. The HeadHunters nickname is derived from the last name of their owner Jason Head.
